What happens after the 14-day trial?
Once your trial ends, you'll be asked to choose a plan and enter your payment details to continue using Heatflow. If you don't subscribe, your account is paused — your data stays safe and you can reactivate at any time.
Is there a contract or minimum term?
No contract, no minimum term. Heatflow is a rolling monthly (or annual) subscription. Cancel whenever you like from your dashboard at app.heatflow.app.
How do I manage my subscription?
Everything to do with payment lives in your dashboard at app.heatflow.app — starting a subscription, changing your card, and cancelling. The mobile app itself never asks for payment.
Can I switch between Solo and Company?
Yes. If your business grows, you can upgrade to the Company plan at any time and invite your engineers in minutes. Downgrading to Solo is also available — just contact support and we'll sort it out.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe. All payments are processed securely. We don't store your card details.
Is my data safe if I cancel?
Your data belongs to you. If you cancel, we keep your data for 90 days so you can come back without losing anything, and you can download a copy at any time in that window (Settings → Download my data). After 90 days it is permanently deleted — except gas safety records, which are kept for 2 years with personal details removed, as the law requires.
Do you offer refunds?
If you're not happy within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us and we'll refund you — no questions asked. Outside of that window, refunds are assessed case by case.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes — every new account gets a full 14-day free trial with access to every feature on the Solo plan. You add a card when you sign up, but nothing is charged until the 14 days are up, and you can cancel before then at no cost. Company plan trials are also available; contact us to set one up for your team.
How does Company plan billing work for multiple engineers?
The Company plan is a flat £30 a month. That includes three engineer accounts and two admin logins — you are not billed per engineer. If you need a fourth engineer account, you can add one for £10 a month (£96 a year on annual billing); the charge is shown in the app before you confirm.
Do you offer discounts for larger teams?
Volume discounts are available for teams of 10 or more engineers. Get in touch via our contact page and we'll put together a quote tailored to your team size.
